Just things that I wrote, my life as a single woman 2011 after divorce. Divorce judged on Valentine’s Day 2011. How IRONIC? Please, do not copy my text ok? Just read it :D.
My life as a single woman.
10 things that makes me cry:
1. The Dress and the Zipper. Not a legend. Ok, I do yoga I can reach it, but that whole moment of loneliness…
2. The Bracelet…Do I even have to describe that? How many times you have to punish a woman? 10 tries, still dropping it.
3. Well well. Opening the lid of the jar. You can’t stretch your hand and give the mission to some one, can you? First, you try to open it under hot water, then with a wet cloth, and finally putting it back in fridge, unopened.
4. Cooking nice dishes. Finally, you throw it away, too much food for one anyway. Nice Libanese cuisine though!
5. Having a flu. So, feeling a littlebit tired to go and buy tissues for your cold? Would you like to have some one to bring you something? Sorry, just watch a movie or something, will ya!!
6. Staying home on weekends. Nice and peaceful! Again, a movie? Book? One glass of wine? Make it a bottle…
7. The nights.. I’m afraid of the dark. That’s perfect. Checking closets every night. Yep. I do it. Every night.
8. Bad news. To who you tell those to? To a friend? That’s nice, but who holds your hand or hugs you? iPhone. It is kind a warm. Does it have ”hug me”-apps?
9. Midnight swim. Yes, do it alone, you are a strong woman aren’t you!!! You can do things alone!
10.Finally, The H-o-l-i-D-a-y-s. Christmas. Easter. New Year’s Eve. Summer holiday! When you think of those, don’t you think happy thoughts? Well. Guess what, nowadays I’m scared of them. And I’m not scared of anything. Except being alone in the desert without water. And darkness.
11. Weddings! No avec invitations to you. No, you are single! You are alone, dress up alone, and end up talking with someones grannie. Well, that’s nice also. I love stories.
10 things that I have heard are good when being single:
1. I can be alone whenever I want to.
2. I can plan everything selfishly.
3. I do NOT have to tell anyone if I’m going somewhere, I can just leave.
4. I can climb, I can dive, I can freedive. And no one says ”do not do it, it’s dangerous”.
5. I do not have any children.
6. Travelling alone. The best deep friendships you make travelling alone. Yes, facebook-friends, right?
7. When I’m away the whole week, there is no one home when I come back. Peace and quiet, I miss that all the time…
8. I can pay my bills alone. No one sharing electricity or rent! That’s great! Independence!
9. I can date whomever I want, that’s liberty, yeah!
10. I can take myself to romantic places and take photos as a memory. That’s great! Then I put them to facebook, so you can laugh at my funny posing faces. That’s also the best thing ever.
