Summer is coming and as always so are mosquitoes unfortunately. It was once again on the crowdfunding platform that we discovered this new product. Xiaomi launches its second model of mosquito repellent device with perfect timing. The Xiaomi Mijia Home Mosquito Repellent has already been the subject of a previous model but this one has not convinced. The latter was perhaps very simple and too tedious to use. The new Xiaomi Mijia Home Mosquito Repellent seems very far from the previous model. Revised and corrected design, increased autonomy and improved efficiency.
[b]XIAOMI MIJIA HOME MOSQUITO REPELLENT[/b]
The Xiaomi Mijia Home Mosquito Repellent comes back with a new look. No more gadget-like appearance of the first model. Here we find a device with a modern design by Mijia and dressed in white. Its shell has been designed in ABS PP plastic, which makes it highly resistant to impact and increases its lifespan. It consists of seven pieces also made of polypropylene. Note that Xiaomi Mijia Eco-Sytem makes it a point of honour to manufacture almost all its objects in recycled plastic. On the underside there are non-slip silicone feet with an air intake mouth.
Its use is very simple. Xiaomi Mijia Home Mosquito Repellent has a start button on a side wall and a rotating timer on the upper side. To put it into service, simply insert an LR03 AAA battery and a recharge of repellent. The refills come from Aspen Pharma Japan. They contain a sufficient dose of Benzoquinone (which corresponds to citronella) to be effective for 30 to 45 days. Once the timer starts, you will have peace for ten hours. No connection to Mi Home is possible. Its efficiency area is 28m3.
Xiaomi Mijia Home Mosquito Repellent is very discreet since it measures only 98.3 mm x 98.3 mm x 58.4 mm and weighs 133 grams. As for its price, it is very attractive because it costs only 59 yuan or about 8€.
